Proposals: Calculation of Costs.
With the calculation, prospective costs can be calculated at the moment of proposal creation – and the profit margin can be estimated. The use is optional. This way, existing processes are not complicated if one wishes to forego this preliminary calculation.
Start calculation
Through one of these typical small, blue MOCO links, the calculation can also be started in the proposal footer.

Enter or adjust costs
- In the calculation window on the right side, enter or adjust the costs.
- If necessary, also adjust positions.
- For services (usually in-house services), a standard hourly rate can be filled in (blue link). This can be changed in the settings under "Services" > "Internal Hourly Rates".
- If predefined additional services with deposited costs are inserted into the proposal, the costs are automatically adopted.

After closing the calculation window, MOCO shows the difference on the right or a violet-colored dot if no costs are deposited. This allows for a check even with subsequently added positions. A click on this info directly calls up the calculation option.

Transfer to the project
When additional services from the proposal are transferred to the project, the entered costs come along. If an expense is assigned afterwards, these forecasted costs are updated.
