Cloud Software
Independent of Location and Platform
MOCO is a cloud software that is independent of operating systems and platforms. You can access your data from anywhere via login. The software is operated through an internet browser: Edge, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari in their latest versions.
Since no installation on your own device (computer, iPad) is necessary, there are no setup costs. Data cannot be lost in the event of a system crash on your own device.
The additional free smartphone apps (iOS and Android) for time and personal expenses tracking are automatically synchronized. You or your employees install these apps as usual via the App Store.
Always up-to-date
Since MOCO is web-based software, all users automatically work on the latest version. Updates happen regularly and automatically and do not interfere with daily work.
GDPR

SSL Encryption
Data is accessed via SSL. SSL is an encryption protocol that makes the transport of private data over public networks possible (also used in online banking). Therefore, all interactions with MOCO are encrypted and private.
Where is my data?
Data Center IWB – Independent of External Services
MOCO is hosted in Switzerland on managed servers by our in-house partner Netskin GmbH at the IWB (Industrielle Werke Basel) data center in Basel – independent of external services. The IWB data center is the largest carrier-neutral data center in the Northwestern Switzerland region. Uncompromisingly designed and deployed technology ensures the highest operational security.
Complies with EU Data Protection Standards
The data is subject to Swiss data protection law, which is equivalent to the EU data protection law. For Switzerland, the level of data protection required by the GDPR was formally recognized by the EU Commission: 2000/518/EC.

The Additional Security Layer for MOCO
Each company decides for itself whether to activate 2FA. This ensures that only the respective user can access their account and sensitive data – even if another person knows the personal password. For access to sensitive areas within MOCO, a code entry is required from the user. Costs
One Price – All Inclusive
In the so-called Software-as-a-Service model (SaaS), a monthly fee is charged. This eliminates surprisingly high additional costs for setup, maintenance, and updates compared to installed or in-house operated software. The monthly price also includes a convenient, personal in-app service that helps with both general and specific questions.
Backup and Control
Backups
Twice a day, a full backup is created, and incremental backups are made every minute in between to minimize the risk of data loss. If you decide to cancel your MOCO account, you can use all » Export options in advance. For any further requests, just get in touch with us.
Access Control
The hardware is located in the data center of IWB Telekom Basel. The data center is certified according to ISAE 3402 SSAE 16 Type II. The only people who have access via chip card and PIN are two members of our team.
