Direct Description of the Service.
Additional service always included an optional description. Now, due to the perceived need, there is also a description for the work at hand. This brings new advantages without burdening existing workflows. Here you can inform yourself about the new advantages and changes.
Advantages of the Attached Description
- Capture standard descriptions directly with the standard services to keep the service designation short and concise.
- When moving in proposals and invoices, the description comes along.
- If you invoice compactly based on effort, you now have the option to include a service description (even without an hourly breakdown).
- Do you have a "collective project" for small on-call jobs and record a budgeted service that you invoice and then lock? Here you can now directly note the agreed scope of service, which should then also appear on the invoice.

In Standard Services
With a click on the icon (1), you can capture a description – for existing services via editing or double-click.
In Catalog and Proposals
Here too, you can capture a description via the icon (1). When changing the type of service, the description remains.
Transfer to Project
When transferring standard services or services from the proposal to the project, the description is included and displayed under "Services for time tracking" (3).
In the Project
If necessary, a description can also be captured in the project at the service (2) – Especially interesting in the context of "collective project" (see above under advantages).
Create Invoice from Efforts
Transfer of Description for "Compact"
A possible service description is automatically included on the invoice. If you prefer the hourly breakdown, you simply delete the description manually.
No Transfer for "Monthly" and "Detailed"
For "Monthly", the service description is not transferred, as it would repeat every month. Use the automatically integrated hourly breakdown (checkbox) if necessary.
Since with "Detailed" each hourly entry including activity description comes individually on the invoice, the description is also not transferred here.
