API Mapping with MOCO.
Mapping is crucial when synchronizing between two systems. With custom fields that can only be changed via the API, this process becomes almost effortless, making the interface even easier to use.
The custom fields have been available in MOCO for a long time. They offer more flexibility for your company's individual requirements and are also available via the API. Newly, custom fields can be declared as "API-only editable" and then, for example, populated with IDs from external systems via a script.
For users, these fields in MOCO are not editable and thus cannot be accidentally overwritten. When two (or more) systems need to be kept in sync, this eliminates the need to maintain mapping on the external system.
